The farm, Tahe Gård, was built at the end of the 19th century. The property is about 200 ha, comprising 21 ha open land and the rest forest.
Tahe Gård is located in the south of Sweden, 15 kilometers south of the city Jönköping, near a village called Taberg.
In 1991 we bought Tahe Gård and in 1995 we started to raise our first Herefords. In the beginning of 1997, we bought Falcon Lad 16F, as well as 4 heifers from Hirsche Herefords in Canada. Later in that year we bought a further 5 heifers. These cattle are some of the very best in Canada and it makes us believe that in the future we will be able to have very good cattle.

Our first herdbull was Falcon, a Cosmo Lad 30C son out of a 2 year old heifer, weighing 95 lbs at birth. This is a calf that we feel meets today's standards. He is long, combined with a natural beefiness. He has been calf champion twice including Bonanza '96 Calf Champion. His mother is a perfect young cow with excellent feet and udder. 16F and his mother were Reserve Grand Champion at The Calgary Stampede 1996.

He is long, deep, a real muscle man. On the 19th of October The Swedish
Beefcattleshow was held in Jönköping at the Elmia showground, and for the very
first time in Sweden in the interbreedfinal a bull got all the judges first
rankingfigures. Rock Solid daily named Mr Rock was the bull who won this and got
BEST IN SHOW.

This spring 2002,we are very happy for 13 calves out of Mr Rock and that they are so very much like their father. It´s a good promise for the future. 8 bullcalves and 5 heifers, all born very easy, weighing 42-45 kg.
GH Mr Difference 73J
Mr Difference is our horned herdbull imported from Canada.in October 2000. Mr Difference is a long, deep and very meaty bull with lots of power.Mr Difference stood as nr two in his class at the Milashow in Malmö. This spring we are looking forward to se his first calves, but we know he got good calves in Canada, some of them now ready for the big Denver Show in USA.

Two of his sons are recent champions this year. GH Changer Lad 122L in Denver Western National Stock Show & GH Difference Britisher 45L Reserve Bull Champion and high selling bull (17500 Cdn) in the Calgary Bull Sale.He aslo has a daughter GH Lindy ET 188L that was Champion March Heifer Calf Class at Denver Western National Stock Show this year.
